Byron Man by Byron Parfums

Very elegant and versatile fragrance One of the latest releases by the house of Byron Parfums. In this ocassion, the French designer decided to leave the oriental territory to compose a piece that gravitates towards the classic aromatic masculine perfumery using the kind of ingredients that makes us think in that mentioned category. Three perfectly separated phases; Fresh and aromatic opening, Floral and spicy heart and a Woody, leathery and with creamy undertones base. The Byron DNA is not marked as it usually is in the rest of his concoctions but definitely you'd get certain vibes that will let you know that you are experiencing a Byron perfume. I really enjoyed this creation and I find it truly versatile and easy to wear not meaning that fragrance is simple because it has personality yet depth in it. REVIEW Very elegant and versatile fragrance that floates around the woody, fresh, green and aromatic scent profile. It's transparent, fresh, invigorating an spicy in th...

A perfect example of how a classy and refined patchouli scent should smell   Virile, with a twist. For the man who wears a pinstripe suit with ease and self-assurance, whose highly sophisticated virility is tinged with artistic flair, and whose ruthless pursuit of seduction is somewhat of an aesthetic endeavor. Read More This perfume reveals the style behind impeccable appearance: patchouli is the pinstripe suit, with a cocktail of rum absolute and mandarin in hand, for a distinct flavor of late nights in dark corners; as cedar, suede and incense are the underlying sensual pulse, warmed by vanilla in a small acknowledgment of intimacy. For the polished womanizer. NOTES Mandarin, rum absolute, patchouli, cedar, suede, incense. REVIEW A modern classic that highlights the warm, woody and earthy facets of a luscious and camphorous patchouli combining it with precious incense and a kinda orange liquor vibe provided by tangerine balmed in rum. The big bol...

Colonia Ébano from the Ingredients Collection A very interesting work that floates around some sensual, mysterious and enveloping dark woods paired with creamy honey and a slight touch of florals. Warm resins and bitter mix between patchouli and vetiver conforms a powerful, elegant and quality scent that throws an interesting gunpowdery vibe. Par Amour Pour Lui by Lucien Ferrero Parfums

Ambery, warm, resinous and with a virile masculine soul Vibrant spicy opening accompanied by a fleeting bergamot note and "metallic" aromatic & clean lavender that starts to show you the virility, potency and intensity that this scent has. Rapidly the early drydown starts to show the resinous, smokey, warm and balsamic heart of Par Amour Pour Lui where a heavy dose of leather and styrax and a kinda immortelle hay note become the main characters of this phase. The late drydown and the base gets a little bit creamed up and balmed up thanks to now more restrained labdanum note mixed with blonde honeyed tobacco, sandalwood and mild tonka beans. A well executed scent with some highlights in its long evolution from opening to the base on my skin. Ambery, warm, resinous and with a virile masculine soul. Notes: Coriander, Provence Tarragon, Cistus, Bergamot, Provence Lavender, Andalusian leather, Tobacco, Patchouli, Styrax Resin, Carnation leaves, Hay, Sandalwood and white m...
