NISHANE NO BOUNDARIES COLLECTION NEFS My absolute favorite and a perfectly constructed fragrance. A boozy opening where a perfectly executed whisky note is accompanied by a veil of spices and fig experiments an amazing development and transitioning to a heart of sacred oud and rose but never loosing its overdose of booze and fruity velvety nuances. Teo Cabanel House Overview BARKHANE Fleeting bergamot accompanying a strong amber opening where a super beautiful cistus labdanum note emerges to be the main protagonist of this fantastic concoction. The bergamot and geranium helps to make the amber more airy instead of thick but always dry. A spicy drydown with earthy and herbal touches provided by the patchouli and the curry perfectly merges with the amber-y and resinous character of this fragrance and balance the composition. A sweet vanilla and a tonka bean vibe are present to warm up and sweeten up the scent in the right measure. Alluring, sophisticated and evocative of memories and other moments/places smells. LUBIN HOUSE OVERVIEW AKKAD It opens with an spicy, bright and sugared citruses accord mixed with burnt sensation and leathery labdanum to keep evolving into an earthy and resinous drydown with elemi, frankincense, labdanum and patchouli to end up in a sexy, smooth and warm dry vanillic/caramel amber base. It's sophisticated and exudes quality. A certified masterpiece and an absolute love to me. My favorite from the house of Lubin. GALAAD Spicy, green and herbal opening with a mild cypress note and a heavy cardamom. A balmy accord of myrrh that makes it resinous, powdery and even dry but never loosing the aromatic character. A soft tobacco and honey rounds up this composition that remains close to the skin but with a great longevity. IDOLE An spicy and boozy opening with certain darkness counter balanced by the bitter orange gives pass to a sweet sugarcane drydown to end up in a rich base of vanillic labdanum, leather and sandalwood.
