Cheerful, fresh and sweet take on rose by Tauer Cheerful, fresh, fruity and sweet opening full of raspberry, citrus and lavender. The drydown shows a classic Tauer vibe with a hyper realistic rose mixed with sweet and creamy notes as vanilla, tonka bean and sandalwood. There are phases in which the Amber signature of the Tauer house appears to balm and warm the composition and accompany a powdery lipstick vibe which is produced by the rose, violet and lavender mixed. A sensual and sweet scent that it's really intoxicating and will create an addictive and alluring scent bubble around you   It opens with a boozy rum note with sweet coconut to make a delightful concoction with the star of this composition, the tobacco. Actually there are 3 main roles on my skin, tobacco, coconut and cedar perfectly accompanied and balanced by the rum at the opening the oak moss at the drydown and a warm kinda nutty tonka bean at the base. The tobacco in FYF is dry, dark and spicy and only sweetened up by the coconut and the tonka bean but it's a tri-dimensional and real tobacco note. The mix of notes results in a sensual and sweet scent that it's really intoxicating and will create an addictive and alluring scent bubble around you. A scent that dances between the floriental and the gourmand territory with a very natural smelling way   An slightly smoky opening with warm myrrh and olibanum and a caramelized jammy rose in combination with red fruits and cardamom plays around the presence of a caramelized kinda labdanum with smooth coffee and an earthy patchouli as well as oud and a slightly sour instead of creamy sandalwood that provides a woody, resinous quality. I find Ruby Wood a scent that dances between the floriental and the gourmand territory with a very natural smelling way. The quality of the ingredients is very high. This will make the woody, jammy and rose-y scents lovers delight as it made with me. Another superb job by Eglija Vaitkevice. Very long lasting longevity and heavy to moderate sillage.
