Ambery, warm, resinous and with a virile masculine soul Vibrant spicy opening accompanied by a fleeting bergamot note and "metallic" aromatic & clean lavender that starts to show you the virility, potency and intensity that this scent has. Rapidly the early drydown starts to show the resinous, smokey, warm and balsamic heart of Par Amour Pour Lui where a heavy dose of leather and styrax and a kinda immortelle hay note become the main characters of this phase. A scent that evokes the smell of a large forest wet after the storm and the smell of firewood burning in a fireplace not far away Great smoky cypress and vetiver mixed up with some cashmere woods. It's dark and mysterious but at the same time it's airy and transparent. Opens up with an absolutely amazing and hyper realistic smoky note of cypress mixed with woods and a little bit peppery. The drydown reveals an earthy vetiver that takes the center of the stage during the whole scent's life. Its aroma is green, dark, earthy, woody and resinous. One of the most special and beautoful Amber based fragrances that I ever come across 🤔Do you know this fragrance? I only have a 15ml decant and even though I feel the luckiest on earth for having it I'd love to have much more if this jewel. Sadly it's discontinued so I use it sparingly and for special occasions. It's a delicate, subtle and light oriental with an amber brilliantly and masterfully executed that touches the sublime. The thyme is present in the opening with an incense-y vibe meeting a woody and spicy note with a subtle patchouli. A resinous aura with labdanum starts to reveal or better said to uplift the amber and the vanilla with a touch of cinnamon that provides the composition with a slightly powdery, ambery and creamy sensation all rounded up by the vanilla and the sandalwood that add depth, complexity and richness. Potent burnt leather Super potent smoke-y even burned opening full of leather and tobacco. The drydown shows an amazing tobacco note and leather with animalic nuances. The composition it's very well blended and the leather, suede and tobacco are hyper realistic. It's very dry and smokey. It reminded me of Andy Tauer's Lonestar Memories so if you are a fan of it you'd definitely love Suede. Fantastic longevity and heavy to moderate sillage. Notes: Suede, Leather and Tobacco.
