A true masterpiece and an artistic icon of modern-chic perfumery   THE PERFUME The version of Dior Homme  in the form of Dior Homme Parfum appeared in 2014. S tarting with the Olivier Polge fragrance in 2005, the whole Dior Homme line was always a favorite of mine and I consider them the best designer line EVER. Bearing in mind that I refer to it only considering the three main characters of this line, Dior Homme, Dior HOmme Intense and Dior Homme Parfum as I never took much care about the others (Sport, Eau, etc.). I've been buying bottle pf Dior Homme since it first came out in 2005 when I can barely understand it in terms of artistic values but I simply adore the smell of the perfume and the uniqueness that it gave me moreover in my office where I was "the guy who smells good". When I used to pull off Dior Homme, the phrase always turned into "the guy who smells differently good". A very good alternative for its value Despite finding this fragrance very linear and barely evolving still it's one of my favorite citrus in its range, genre and category.. The opening is perhaps a bit synthetic and sharp loaded with orange, neroli and orange blossom. The drydown, in spite of remaining synthetic, recreates in a fantastic way the aroma of the Neroli, it has that spiciness that many others forget and it feels earthy, slightly woody and with a touch of white flowers accompanied by vetiver. I don't detect the amber or the patchouli although perhaps those are the notes that make it apart from fresh, balsamic and with a sweetness that I'd say it's kinds caramelized. It's even soapy. The longevity in my skin is above average and heavy to moderate sillage as the hours goes by.   A linear fragrance, with synthetic touches (without meaning to be bad) Grapefruit mixed with pepper that provides the opening with a light spicy freshness that rapidly transitions in to a vanilla incense mixed with a mild sandalwood providing a semi-sweet drying. Fantastic and completely unisex even though it's labelled as "women fragrance"   A creamy, sweet and balsamic orange is the main character in this very well executed composition by Jean-Claude Ellena. It's thick/dense but at the same time has lightness, a bold and diverse creation which gives prominence to resins and woods. Spicy, dried citrusy, confited opening that gives pass to a drydown in which the orange (rather its peel) still is the main character but sinking into a resins, amber & woods sea resulting in an intense, spiced and aromatic, sweet orange that even has a vanillic vibe sometimes. Pleasant, fresh and airy   A citrus-y opening a little bit synthetic that gives pass to a semi sweet-gourmand phase leaded by the almond and the tonka bean. That mixed it with the citruses makes it nothing heavy and wearable even in the warm weather. Then the cedar, leather and a hint of vetiver balances the rest of the fragrance. It's pleasant, fresh and airy. I found this one interesting, probably not much relevant and discreet but definitely a good work. Despues el cedro, el cuero y un toque de vetiver balancean el resto. Es agradable, fresca y aireada. La encuentro interesante, no muy relevante y discreta pero definitivamente un buen trabajo. An aromatic classic piece Opens citrus, effervescent, slightly rough and very aromatic. During the first phase it could be classified as a citrus-herbal. The drydown is more floral, warm and sensual giving way to a woody base with a mossy bottom of oak moss and vetiver. The large number of notes has a point of equilibrium measured to perfection. A timeless classic. Moderate longevity and moderate to mild projection. Notes: Rosemary, Caraway, Fruity Notes, Basil, Bergamot, Lemon, Coriander, Carnation, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Lily, Jasmine, Rose, Amber, Musk, Oak Moss and Vetiver. Little rebel   Black Perfecto by La Petite Robe Noire from the house of @guerlain A blast of roses, jammy sweet roses. There's a little hint of fruity licorice cherry in it at least on my skin and a very soft leather-y and almond-y vibe. I found this one interesting and have to keep reaching for it and wearing it. Another good work by one of my favourite perfumers @thierrywasser and one of my favourite perfume houses @guerlain Black Perfecto by La Petite Robe Noire de la casa Guerlain Una explosión de rosas, dulces y comestibles rosas. Hay un pequeño toque de afrutada y alicorada cereza, al menos en mi piel y un deje muy suave encuerado y almendrado. He encontrado este perfume interesante y tengo que seguir buscándolo y vistiendolo mas. Otro buen trabajo de la mano de uno de mis perfumistas favoritos Thierry Wasser y una de mis casas favoritas Guerlain.
