In the Middle East, a promise made between two people is accompanied by the strictest honor code.
Frédéric Malle celebrates this principle with a promise of his own, whose beating heart is made of two precious varieties of rose: rose essence from Bulgaria and rose absolute from Turkey are lifted by apple, pink pepper and clove, and bound to a sensuous base of patchouli, cypriol and labdanum; an accord as unbreakable, and invisible, as a vow.

REVIEW
I adore almost everything that Dominique Ropion creates so in this case it couldn't be different.

A unique and majestic perfume composed by a mixture of Turkish rose and Bulgarian rose, surrounded by sweet and juicy apple with an even varnished feel and a veil of spices to support and restrain the excesive sweetness creating a fruity floral accord in the beginning. A heavy dose of cypriol oil (nagarmotha) mixed with patchouli and labdanum creates a tenacious woody and earthy heart that is somehow pungent, ambery and leathery to conform a long lasting decadent oriental base in which Ropion shows his amazing blending skills and the superior materials used in this composition that bewitches you.

This is the type of creation that makes me love this hobby.


Adoro casi todo lo que Dominique Ropion crea, por lo que en este caso no podía ser diferente.

Un perfume único y majestuoso compuesto por una mezcla de rosa turca y rosa búlgara, rodeado de manzana dulce y jugosa con un toque como barnizado y un velo de especias para apoyar y contener la dulzura excesiva creando un acorde floral afrutado al principio. Una fuerte dosis de aceite de cipriol (nagarmotha) mezclado con pachulí y ládano crea un corazón tenaz, amaderado y terroso que de alguna manera es picante, ambarado y coriáceo para conformar una base oriental decadente de larga duración en la que Ropion muestra sus increíbles habilidades de mezcla y los materiales superiores utilizados  en esta composición que te hechizará.

Este es el tipo de creación que me hace amar este hobby.
