A perfume that you'll connect in an intimate way with
April Aromatics was founded by Tanja Bochnig in New York and has been based in Berlin since 2008. The line includes a selection of natural perfumes and is based on a holistic approach.
The name of the label, April Aromatics, was inspired by the perfumer’s birth month. Born on 1st April, she particularly loves this time of year, when nature is gradually re-awakening from its winter slumber and the scent of promise is in the air.
A PERSONAL NOTE FROM TANJA BOCHNIG.
I started April Aromatics because I had a deep desire to create perfumes from pure extracts that not only smell good, but also create an inner well-being and noticeably lift our senses. The scents from April Aromatics are able to take the receptive into a world of poetry.
April Aromatics perfumes are unique and of very high quality. The use of naturally pure ingredients whenever available and the particularly gentle processing make it possible to preserve the original quality and soul of a fragrance. The thoughts and the energy that come into the perfume during the creation of a fragrance, as well as the tides of the moon during the production, are of great importance to me.
Each fragrance is enriched with individual stone essences that energize and harmonize the wearer. Our oil-based perfumes are made with high quality organic jojoba oil as a carrier and our eau de parfums with 100% organic alcohol. Our room & body sprays use emulsifiers that are extracted from coconut oil. The Chakra products are made from 100% natural, essential oils. All of our packaging can be recycled for reprocessing.

THE PERFUME
This is an oud-based perfume and consists in equal parts of root extracts and plants that grow close to the earth, such as: sandalwood, agarwood, cistus, labdanum, oak, patchouli as well as heart notes such as rose otto, rose absolue, geranium and sweet pink fruity notes.
Our roots are where we were born, but where we really feel comfortable is where our “heart” beats louder. The combination of root and heart notes in this perfume is a representation of wellbeing in ourselves that is not tied to one place. The heart notes raise the root “base” notes and round them up into a nice / soft bouquet. Since I have traveled almost all my life, I had to recognize early on where my roots are and that our home is not necessarily where we were born.

Pink Wood delivers in quality and invades your soul with breathtaking, lush, sensual and edible rose petals of various species, rich exotic oud wood and rosewood as well as an aged oak wood. There's a kinda spicy and fresh geranium note floating around the edges mixed with patchouli supporting the slightly sweet fruity notes all wrapped in a syrupy, honeyed and resinous intoxicating amber accord that makes this scent a perfume that you'll connect in an intimate way with.
Pink Wood entrega calidad e invade tu alma con impresionantes, exuberantes, sensuales y comestibles pétalos de rosa de varias especies, rica y exótica madera de oud y palo de rosa, así como una madera de roble envejecido. Hay una nota un poco picante y fresca de geranio flotando alrededor de los bordes mezclada con pachuli que sostiene las notas afrutadas y ligeramente dulces, todo envuelto en un acorde almibarado, meloso y resinoso de embriagador ambar que hace que este aroma sea un perfume con el que conectarás de manera íntima.
