Senses of Istanbul is the second collection by the Turkish house of Alghabra and once again, it's inspired in the ancient Ottoman empire and the Old city of Damascus.



EYE OF SEVEN HILLS
My favorite out of this fantastic collection. Boozy, creamy, resinous, balsamic. A perfume full of nuances and evolution from spicy opening to creamy and boozy sensual base that will bewitch you and captivate you forever with its complexity.

CROWN OF MARMARA
Spectacular leather based fragrance with a woody twist. Embraces you like the most expensive pair of leather gloves and takes you in a journey through the ancient Damascus streets.

ISTANBUL'S SOUL
Deep, warm and resinous perfume with a beautiful transition between bright and delicate first phase to deep, warm and kinda dark base with prominent nagarmotha, sandalwood, guaiac wood and a leathery aspect in it.

LABYRINTH OF SPICES
A unique fragrance featuring a perfectly executed Turkish coffee note with spices and energetic notes such as cardamom and pineapple to create a sour and sweet concoction very original.

OTTOMAN TREASURE
Smoky and resinous white oud balmed in labdanum to conceive a balsamic heart with a shiny frankincense note to provide the scent with an spiritual soul and an earthy and woody base.

BOSPHOROUS PEARL
I got the hunch that this is going to be an amazing seller. A beautiful floral tea fragrance very easy and lovely to wear.

ANCIENT FORTRESS
An original and unique take on the aquatic theme with some herbal and musky nuances. It's like sitting in a terrace very near to the sea shore where you can feel all the elements involved, air, moss, water, salt, sand... Fantastic take on aquatic.

A fragrance with a dangerously addictive character     My experience with Francesca Bianchi's perfumes is very limited as I don't own any but I have the luck to have a friend (actually one of my best friends) that loves Francesca's work and that he has all of Francesca's perfumes. As usual, Juan from Huelememucho  let me know in one of our calls that he already bought the new Francesca Bianchi's creation called Sticky Fingers and that I'd easily love it as per my liking and taste. He couldn't be more right as when we met a couple of days later and I tried the scent, I absolutely felt in love with it, it was love at first sniff straight like that.
