A fragrance with a dangerously addictive character

 

 

My experience with Francesca Bianchi's perfumes is very limited as I don't own any but I have the luck to have a friend (actually one of my best friends) that loves Francesca's work and that he has all of Francesca's perfumes. As usual, Juan from Huelememucho let me know in one of our calls that he already bought the new Francesca Bianchi's creation called Sticky Fingers and that I'd easily love it as per my liking and taste. He couldn't be more right as when we met a couple of days later and I tried the scent, I absolutely felt in love with it, it was love at first sniff straight like that.

The quality, the love behind it, the complex process that I'm sure she went trough to conceive and balance this gem is very noticeable. You can feel some of the ingredients in a very close, reallistic and three dimensional way. The orris used in this formula is heavenly executed, the patchouli is exactly showcased in the form that I really adore and the animalic undertone is completely domesticated and wearable just adding a carnal and sensual aura to the whole composition that makes it so aaddictive and always leave you with willings of wearing it again and again.

Definitely in my to buy list to keep enjoying it especially its masterfully orchestrated opening and the evolution and development that comes after.

Sticky Fingers – A rock-chic Patchouli, in a decadent and sumptuous interpretation. Wild and carefree, dangerously dressed in leather but playful. Don’t get fooled by iris, no romance is going on here: tobacco leaves are rolled, the leather jacket is eventually thrown somewhere, and the delightful and tempting smell of skin finally emerges.

Coriander, Cinnamon, Orris butter, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Heliotrope, Musk, Castoreum, Leather, Tobacco, Tonka bean.


REVIEW
The opening shows you the dangerously addictive character that this fragrance has. A Deep and very rich patchouli note with earthy and chocolaty aspects paired with a buttery and rooty orris like you don't always have the luck to experience in such pure form, welcomes you to this spectacular concoction.

In its deep and complex drydown a labdanum undertone highlighting its more dry, leathery and somehow animalic facets, starts to unfold a layer of added darkness to the earthy profile all of this wrapped in a veil of tobacco sprinkled all over. There are some floral elements with a slightly powderiness and some dry resins, so the perceived leather or better said, suede accord could be the result of an overdose of labdanum with an iris touch.

The whole scent profile has an animalic vibe adding a touch of sensuality with a seductive energy but always maintaining an elegant and gentle soul with powdery aspects thanks to the orris used acting as a counterpart to the dark musky overtones and semi sweet spicy undertones with tonka bean, precious woods, spices and patchouli leaves making the scent a powerful weapon of seduction with its sensual and carnal aspects.

La salida te muestra el carácter peligrosamente adictivo que tiene esta fragancia. Una nota profunda y muy rica de pachuli con aspectos terrosos y achocolatados combinados con un orris mantecoso y enraizado que no siempre tienes la suerte de experimentar en una forma tan pura, te da la bienvenida a este espectacular brebaje.

En su secado profundo y complejo, un trasfondo de ládano que resalta sus facetas más secas, coriáceas y de alguna manera animálicas, comienza a desplegar una capa de oscuridad agregada al perfil terroso, todo esto envuelto en un velo de tabaco esparcido por todas partes. Hay algunos elementos florales con un ligero toque empolvado y algunas resinas secas, por lo que el acorde percibido de cuero o mejor dicho de ante, podría ser el resultado de una sobredosis de ládano con un toque de iris.

Todo el perfil olfativo tiene una vibra animal que agrega un toque de sensualidad con una energía seductora pero siempre manteniendo un alma elegante y suave con aspectos empolvados gracias al iris utilizado que actúa como contraparte de los matices almizclados oscuros y los matices especiados semidulces con haba tonka, maderas preciosas, especias y hojas de pachulí hacen de la fragancia un arma poderosa de seducción con sus aspectos sensuales y carnales.
